Afternoon Stroll - Flute and Strings

Afternoon Stroll is like a pleasant walk on an early-summer afternoon. The flowing melodic line is backed by enchanting harp, strings, and bass that weave in and out of focus. Aprox. 4:30’ in length.

Originally recorded on Flute and Alto Flute, this is a “modular” piece. This means it can also be performed as just a solo instrument (example: flute) with just the harp (or piano) backing. This arrangement gives it a much softer and peaceful feeling. Additional instruments can be added based on what you have available to you.

Additionally the “harmony instrument” is provided in a wide range of transcriptions so that you can perform this as a duet with nearly anyone! Additional string transcriptions are included as well for a larger string orchestra group.
